Dr. Touradj Ameli is a world-recognized surgical prosthodontist specializing in advanced reconstructive dental esthetics. He provides the most advanced, effective, and safe dental care, creating beautiful and natural esthetics for patients from around the world who demand the highest quality of care and personal attention. At ARID Newton-Wellesley, Dr. Ameli offers a full spectrum of cosmetic and implant reconstructive treatments, ranging from routine treatments to the most complex surgeries. Dr. Ameli established ARID in the year 2000 with the explicit vision and intention to deliver the highest quality of dental care while remaining true to his love of teaching and contributing to the advancements in his field of specialty.

Dr. Ameli received his DMD from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. While at Tufts, he completed his advanced specialty training and certificate in prosthodontics with a concentration in perio-implantology. He then received his formal training and certificate in surgical implantology from Nobelpharma AB. Previously, Dr. Ameli taught at the New York University as an Associate Clinical Professor and is currently continuing his position as a faculty member at Harvard University, School of Dental Medicine, Division of Advanced Graduate Prosthodontics and Biomaterials Sciences.

Mr. Aiba graduated in 1982 from the Dental Technology Program at the Dental School of Aichi Gakuin University in Nagoya, Japan. He then went on to complete a post-graduate ceramics course at the Tokai Dental Technicians School in 1986 and was inducted as a member of Oral Design in 1992. Mr. Aiba has lectured and conducted hands-on courses in more than 30 countries on ceramics, dental photography, and dentist-laboratory communications.  He has also published and exhibited his photographs around the world.  Mr. Aiba currently serves as a member of the editorial board for QDT, and as a technical advisory board member of the Monterey-Bay Study Club.

Kelly received her Certificate in Dental Hygiene from Forsyth School of Dental Hygiene. While at Forsyth, she completed her Bachelor of Science from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. Kelly is a teaching member of Boston Institute for Advanced Dental Education.

A ceramist and super dental technician, Mr. Yamada graduated from the Toyama Dental Academy in Toyama, Japan 2000-2002. Mr. Yamada was also a Principal of the School for Dental Technicians at Tokyo Medical and Dental University School of Health Sciences, Health Engineering 2002-2004.  He has been a member of Oral Design in Boston, Oral Design Center in Zurich, Switzerland, and Oral Design in Asakusa, Tokyo, Japan.  In 2010, Mr. Yamada was selected to undergo advanced training in Switzerland for over three years where he became a member of Oral Design.

Dr. Shapurian received her B.A. in chemistry from Bucknell University in 1988, along with her DMD from Tufts University in 1992, her Certificate in Periodontics from Tufts University in the year 2000, and her M.S. from Tufts University in 2004. Since becoming a periodontist, Dr. Shapurian has had her work published, and she has become a certified clinical faculty member at Tufts School of Dental Medicine, where she is an Associate Clinical Professor. Dr. Shapurian’s periodontal practice is focused on reconstructive periodontal surgery and implants therapy. She joined the ARID team as an independent practitioner in 2004.

Mr. Yoshida graduated from the Dental Technician School at Nihon University, and then successfully acquired a dental technician position at the Tanaka Dental Clinic in Aoyama, Tokyo, Japan. In 1991. Mr. Yoshida was appointed as Technical Instructor in the Department of Postgraduate Prosthodontics at the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 1994. He has also been named Adjunct Faculty for the Center for Esthetic Dentistry at the University of California Los Angeles School of Dentistry.
